This is just a quick note regarding my East Coast tour in May-June 2009
 
I really have enjoyed the past few trips and welcome the opportunity to chat face to face and catch up with old and new friends. Below is a broad outline of the time frame. I do have some other commitments in each stop over, so need to try to set some times for getting together. It will also assist in organising seating and meal options at the venues to make it easier on the day for all concerned.

With the very positive turn out in 2008 and the increasing numbers in comparison to the previous meetings in 2007, could you please email me your notice of attendance along with any points that you may wish to have included for discussion. I am more than happy to accommodate. Please do not be shy in putting forward ideas for the meeting as this is the main objective, to discuss issues that can be of benefit to everyone in the punting game. With all the improvemnets made to both Bet Selector and PPFA over the last 12-15 months since our last seminars there will be many points of interest to be discussed.

The following dates have been provisionally allocated for the meetings and venues will be confirmed closer to the dates.

Sydney 2009

I will be in Sydney from May 12th to May 17th and am available for discussion group to get together during that period. At this stage no specific date has been allocated but I will be available on any of these dates that suit the general consensus. For those that may wish a more informal discussion group, I am happy to accommodate, please email your preferences.
The last Sydney visit was conducted in this manner with several small meeting groups on different days, I am happy to follow this format again if that suits.  I will be staying at The Menzies and will give further details as we get closer.

Gold Coast 2009

I will be at the Gold Coast from 18th May to 31st May 2009 and have scheduled the following at this stage.
Gold Coast meeting will be on or about the 24th May 2009
Given similar numbers as 2008, we will meet at about 11am and expect meeting to commence about 11.30-11.45am. We will break for lunch at about 1.30-2-30 and then re commence discussions. There are many points of discussion that will be covered and I expect that the meeting will continue into the evening as it did last year (before we had to leave due to the clubs other commitments)

Melbourne 2009

I will be in Melbourne 1st June to 8th June.
Proposed meeting for around 7th June 2009 again at the Box Hill RSL club.
At this stage the meeting will be in the late afternoon (possibly from 5pm onwards) and having dinner is also a consideration during the evening.  Given the great night we had in 2008 I am sure that there will be much to discuss again.

This is an update of the Meetings to be held in May-June 2009

The date and venue has been confirmed for the Gold Coast

It will be held on Sunday 24th May 2009 at:

Burleigh Town Tavern

West Burleigh 4219

The function room has been booked for the day/evening with lunch and dinner available (at a very moderate cost)

The commencing time is yet to be finalized but at this stage 11-11.30am is most likely.

Please contact Steven at stavros@wn.com.au  or on 0408550722 to indicate your attendance as seating and tables need to be organized in addition to beverages (tea/coffee throughout the meeting)

There is no cost for attending the meeting other than paying for your meal/s and the Tavern has kindly included continuous tea/coffee for the duration of the meeting for $2.50 each.

There will be several presentations throughout the day/evening covering a wide specter of subjects.

Should you have any points of interest that you would like discussed please indicate the subject matter in your emails and we will include where possible.

Over the last few days there have several requests from users in SA, I will look at including depending on the response.

As stated above, there may be a window of opportunity as part of the Melbourne leg, again depending on interest.

To give you some idea of what will be discussed and demonstrated, the list below shows some of the agenda earmarked for the day. Michal will discuss Form Elements and its application and I will cover the rest of the points for discussion. I also anticipate that we will have facilities for live demonstrations on a screen that will enable any questions to be answered by way of practical demonstrations. Please feel free to comment of the points of discussion and put forward any ideas or thoughts that you have which require clarification. DO NOT be shy in asking questions, I have put this meeting together to assist users in getting a better understanding of the products we use and how best to use then therefore no issue is too small.

There have been some great developments over the last few years and the future looks very bright. I hope to catch up with as many people as possible as we did some 15 months ago and the organization and venue has been put in place to give us the opportunity to discuss things at our leisure.
